The end of my PearPC builds
It’s been a long time coming, after several system rebuilds, source repository changes, and the lack of interest in PearPC due mainly to the release of Intel OSX.
So with some sadness, I’m closing down the second most popular page on my site, and recommend you look to the Google or Wikipedia your PearPC needs.
Thanks for the fun while it lasted
(I’m not completely averse to putting some builds back up, if you realllllly want me to…Just leave a comment and I’ll see how demand looks.)

HI!
Too bad nobody seems to be interested anymore in PearPC’s developement. This emulator should have been completed.
I’ve been visiting this page almost every day in hope you’ll keep on building PearPC someday
Maybe you can put a link to your latest builds in here (or any “special” build you have, like the one with two IDE, etc).
It has been a pleasure

Gui

I’ll see if I can dig up the SVN repository and build instructions (or my build scripts!). it’s been so long I don’t remember all of the ins and outs. I DO remember the assembly building portion of it was a pain

Like others, I too have checked back frequently in the hope of finding a new revision of PearPC. I have checked Google… Sadly, “no one” seems to be releasing nightly, weekly or even monthly builds
I’d really like to see continued development.

too bad you’re stopping this. It was always a nice thing to run MacOS X experimentally on HW platforms that weren’t ready for the native code at all.
But in fact by switching to the intel HW it seems everbody switched to a real mac who was emulation before. I even doubt that there is more than about 5000 people seriously running MacOS X on non-Apple hardware.
I switched to iMac 20″ CoreDuo and will grant me a holiday present in 24″ alumnium

Hi,
just found your site, and if you dig up the build instructions, I certainly will try to build PearPC, but my special interest is in old PPC SW that won’t run in OSX (Intel).

If this page is the second most popular on your site, why would you close it down??
