Hat tip to Russell Beattie.
"With our revolutionary multi-touch interface, powerful hardware and advanced software architecture, we believe we have created the best mobile platform ever for developers."
… as we define powerful. And advanced. And mobile. And platform. And ever.

Checking my referrer stats this morning, it appears someone thinks I have a drinking problem
For the record, I don’t :) Must be this guy.

I know this is a terribly exciting post, but I wanted to try the new Blog This feature in Flock with a link I was browsing, so there you go
Flickr: 10 Useful Flickr Greasemonkey Scripts
I don’t think it’s going to replace LiveWriter though. It’s one of the best apps to come out of MS in a looong time

It’s been a long time coming, after several system rebuilds, source repository changes, and the lack of interest in PearPC due mainly to the release of Intel OSX.
So with some sadness, I’m closing down the second most popular page on my site, and recommend you look to the Google or Wikipedia your PearPC needs.
Thanks for the fun while it lasted
(I’m not completely averse to putting some builds back up, if you realllllly want me to…Just leave a comment and I’ll see how demand looks.)

So I’ve grown very quickly to like FreeCommander (http://www.freecommander.com), as I think it is the closest thing I can find to the old Norton Commander. You’d think that working where I do I’d find the NC internally but such has not been the case
Freecommander lets you have split panes, and even lets you mark files with the spacebar (praise be to NC). This screenie shows the vertical split, but by default it splits horizontally.
So this is all well and good until you start hitting Win+E to and find yourself back in the dark world of Explorer instead of your fantastic new (and FREE!) file manager.
Thanks to some tips from John Morales I was able to simply and easily remap the keys I needed to make it launch FC instead. Just follow the directions at his site, and replace the line:
~E=Run|xplorer2.exe|0|2 ; Run Xplorer2 Win-E
with
~E=Run|"c:\Program Files\FreeCommander\FreeCommander.exe";Run Free eeCommander Win-E
I haven’t yet figured out how to make it work when I double click My Computer, but, baby steps…
