Skype is pretty freaking awesome!
So I installed Skype and it works REALLY well!
My username is “rtgoodwin“, and I set it up to have an answering machine, so call me! You can see my status to the right and if you have Skype installed, clicking the icon should call me.
I won’t promise to answer but I think it would be really cool if you guys would leave me some messages

Are you using Skype’s commercial (pay) voicemail or one of the free alternatives? The one problem I have found with SAM and other free voicemails for skype is that you cannot access your voicemails remotely — I guess this is the main reason to pay for Skype’s voicemail. We decided to write our own free answering machine for Skype here at Orb Networks — and include notification and remote access. We are calling it V4S (voicemail for Skype). You have to install both V4S and Orb on the machine you use Skype on, but when you do you can use Orb to answer your calls, record messages, notify you of a new message, and allow you to remotely access those messages from any Internet connected device.
